Harry James Potter walked up the front steps of Number 12, Grimmauld Place. As he opened the door, he was greeted by a loud CRASH! "Sirius! James!" Harry grinned as the voice of his wife, tinged with exasperation mingled with amusement, came from the kitchen. "I'm home, dearest!"
Karen Brodersen Potter, not looking much more than twenty(aside from small lines around her eyes), came up the stairs wiping her hands on a towel as she rolled her eyes with mock exasperation. "How many times have I told you not to call me 'dearest'?" Her voice still carried a hint of a Danish accent, even after living in England for 8 years. She smiled, brushing a lock of waist-length golden hair over her shoulder.
"I don't remember..would you care to remind me?" Karen's answer was drowned out by footsteps pounding on the floor above. "Daddy's home!" Two black-haired boys shouted as they slid down the banister, followed closely by a brown-haired boy. They ran to Harry, who gave Karen a look of mock-horror. "Help!"
Karen shook her head laughing as "her men" wrestled on the floor. She let them rough-house for a few minutes, then intervened. "Ok, that's enough!" Bending down, Karen pulled James, then Sirius off Harry, leaving the brown-haired Remus on his father's legs. "Dinner's almost ready. Go wash up." This was met by groans. "Mum! Do we have to?" Remus looked at his dad pleadingly. "Do as your mother says. Go on!" The triplets exchanged dark looks as they dragged themselves hand over hand back upstairs, grumbling.
Karen helped Harry to his feet, kissing him as they walked into the drawing room. Harry smiled at his wife as he put his arm around her shoulders. Once they were on the sofa, Karen leaned her head against him, smiling. "How was your day?" Harry frowned, sighing. "Be glad you left the Ministry when you had the triplets."
"Why? What happened?"
"Draco Malfoy was brought in for questioning." Karen frowned at this news, her sapphire eyes darkening. "Again?! How on Earth does he keep getting off the hook?" A frown marred Harry's handsome features that were so much like his father's. "The same way his father did, and still does."
"Using his money to buy his way out?" Karen frowned, remembering the trouble and grief Malfoy and his father had caused them in school. Harry nodded, then grinned at his wife. "Enough about my day. How was your's...dearest?" He laughed as she smacked his arm lightly, making a face. "I told you...I hate it when you call me that!" Karen shook her head, eyes twinkling as she smiled back. "In any case, with the stories your dad and Sirius tell those three, it's a miracle the house is still standing!" The sound of something breaking overhead made them look up. "Do you see what I mean?"

This is the first chapter of my fan-fic based on Harry Potter and a roleplay that I'm currently participating in. The name might seem slightly cheesy and/or misleading, but hey, it's late. 
Anywho...this story is in Harry's future, after he defeated Voldemort. It's approximately 6 or 7 years after he and his wife (who was his girlfriend his 6th and 7th years)graduated from Hogwarts. Oh, yeah...it might seem a little rough, but it's because I write at work between calls.
One other thing: I would like to make a note that my character(Karen) may seem like a Mary-Sue at first, but I promise that she's not. In fact, I'm working on making her less of a Mary-Sue all the time. One other thing is that (as I have in my artist's note) this is based off a roleplay I'm currently participating in, so there are some things that might seem a little strange.
For example, Sirius is alive(that wasn't my idea, but I was so upset about him dying in the books that when a RP came along with him alive by some miracle, I jumped at it.), and Karen and Harry are able to communicate with Lily and James because James had his mirror on him when he died. Hermione was able to repair Harry's mirror, so that's why Harry still has it, even though in the book it was broken.
Other than that, this is just something I'm working on for fun, and I really don't want people flaming me because of those things. Thanks!

aaaaaaaaaaargh! you do not understand! it was james' mirror that harry had and broke sirius did not make him ANOTHER one! and who the hell is karen? harry was dating ginny in the last part of the sixth and the seventh one it was all "errr". argh, i am so angry and i don't care about your "Critique Not Desired" because this story is utter nonsense! i do not understand it at all! it is stupid!
